Job Description
The Sales & Service Information (SSI) team is responsible for delivering key Sales, Retail and Customer Service operational metrics and reports to T-Mobile Leadership and the field. The Business Analyst III is responsible for gathering, validating and documenting reporting requirements, as well as the production and distribution of ad hoc reports as needed. The Business Analyst III also participates in larger T-Mobile projects and initiatives and provides requirements and suggestions based on reporting needs. This position works closely with the Sales, Retail and Customer Service Leadership and various other departments within T-Mobile.
Job Responsibilities
* Subject matter expert for the Sales, Retail and Customer Service reporting needs
* Work closely with senior management to define new reporting initiatives
* Design and development of new reports based on existing systems, data, and tools
* Involved in larger T-Mobile initiatives and projects to design new reports and reporting solutions
* Production and distribution of assigned ad hoc and recurring reports as needed
* Cross-training as backup to other members on the team
* Able to assist in the professional/career development of teammates
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements |
Qualifications
* Proficient with MS Office applications
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas and macros)
* Familiarity with MS Access, Business Objects and/or SQL (oracle and/or sql server)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Familiarity with Project Management concepts and able to drive initiatives to completion
* Desire to share ideas and think outside the box
* Aggressive approach to data analysis and reporting
* Committed to providing world-class service to our partners and customers
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all roles within the organization
* Ability to design new reports with a limited set of requirements
* Ability to respond to inquiries on their reports and explain findings
* Ability to apply data analysis to real-world business situations
* Ability to draw conclusions from reports and escalate issues to management
* Ability to manage projects with limited direction
* Ability to achieve deadlines while managing multiple and changing projects
* Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
* Flexibility to work extended hours and sometimes weekend hours
* Flexibility to travel (depending on assignment)
* Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years in a Business Analysis role
