Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Development and Construction (T-Mobile Tower Division), the Sr. Project Manager works to plan, coordinate and execute the business development plan for the Tower Asset Management Team. This position will train and support a team of Project Managers over a large scale geographic region and ensure timely completion of all construction related site milestones throughout the collocation process. Focus will be applied to cycle time reduction, faster revenue commencements and improvement of customer satisfaction.

* Ensure all customer application, leasing and installation activity is completed within the current company required time cycles. This includes, but is not limited to preliminary, preconstruction and post construction walks, and all necessary A&E analysis and design.

* Develop and lead regional Project Managers to meet defined monthly/quarterly/annual goals and consistently manage for performance against those goals.

* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, T-Mobile vendors and local market contacts.

* Work effectively with T-Mobile Tower Asset Management Collocation Specialists to determine site viability for inbound collocation activity and to strategize optimal asset use.

* Respond quickly and effectively to resolve issues, in accordance with company established policies, standards and procedures.

* Identify and propose alternative solutions to upper management regarding obstacles, resources and other operating issues.

* Assist the PM team with market level coordination (specifically Operations) to result in a smooth interface with Site Marketing and market activities on T-Mobile owned sites.

* Continually strive to improve processes, practices, and vendor and carrier relationships to create efficient and effective means for accomplishing goals on time, and on budget.

* Enforce national collocation construction standards where specific antenna loading or other site issues are not covered by the MLA.

* Coordinate with local RF, Development and Operations to share best practices and assist in developing consistent standards.

* Ensure structural integrity compliance for all assigned assets. Remain abreast of new technology and changes in building codes, construction and safety practices.


Requirements

Qualifications & Competencies:

* Requires broad range knowledge of industry standards and carrier-specific policies and procedures.

* Comprehensive understanding/familiarity with construction drawings, tower drawings, structural analysis reports, geotechnical reports and phase-1 reports.

* Ability to forecast problems and maintain strong conflict resolution skills.

* Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft Project experience is helpful.

* Candidate should have strong leadership and relationship skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Candidate should have at least five years in the construction/real estate industry, primarily in telecommunications.

* Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

* Travel is required and can be up to 50%.
